Goose Yellow Zhuni is produced in the lower part of the Zhaozhuang Tender clay layer; has low mineral reserve . The appearance and texture of the ore material are uniform and fine, light yellow, muddy, dense and massive, soft and fragile. Because the color of the clay is pure and delicate, such as goose egg yolk, it is used to be called "goose yellow zhuni". Therefore, the clay is sticky and glutinous, such as rice cake, also known as "rice cake clay".The refined clay is very delicate and has good plasticity. It's very sticky and muddy when forming the teapot. The range of firing temperature is very narrow, close to 1120℃. It is easy to cause deformation, wrinkling, blistering and other defects, so the yield is very low. Every process of making needs high requirements. After firing, the color is reddish with orange.The surface is fine, dense and firm with shrinkline, warm and transparent. It looks pure and delicate.
Pear is a very classic shape of Yixing teapot. The lid fits the body well. It's practical to use.
